Neal Burgis, Ph.D., is an executive coach and President/Founder of Burgis Successful Solutions, based in Phoenix, Arizona. As an executive coach, Dr Burgis is dedicated to helping small and mid-size business owners and professionals Master Steps to Extraordinary Success.

Prior to founding Burgis Successful Solutions in 1999, Dr. Neal Burgis, a National Certified Psychologist, was in private practice. His education is interwoven with experiences that supported and enhanced his interest and talent for helping people achieve their next level of success in their business and personal lives.

After 20 years helping executives and professionals assess their abilities, solve problems, and achieve their personal and professional goals, forming Burgis Successful Solutions and becoming a Certified Executive Coach was a natural next step for him.
Dr. Burgis received his Professional Coaching Certification through the College of Executive Coaching. Neal has a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Psychological Studies Institute in Palo Alto, California. His doctoral dissertation was (directed by Dr. Philip G. Zimbardo, a social psychologist at Stanford University and leading world expert in shyness research) “Ameliorating The Shy Self-Concept through Supportive Peer Group Therapy”. He earned his M.Ed. in counseling from Antioch University in Yellow Springs, Ohio, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) in Glassboro, New Jersey.
