Peter is a mature Australian who brings an unusual perspective to human resource development – a lifetime understanding of the life-expanding benefits of any interest that people passionately enjoy, whether they are at work, home or play. His theme statement reads “you find yourself when you lose yourself in an interest you love”. Peter emphasizes the ripple effects these experiences have on self esteem, self confidence, skill development, self belief and sense of self worth – all highly desired business attributes.
This perspective on improving work productivity and personal growth opens up a whole new lateral-thinking approach to the many key people-management issues affecting business today, including sustaining high levels of work productivity under prolonged excessive stress and pressures, attracting and keeping good staff, stress management, skills development, work life balance and the transition from work to retirement.
Peter established his own consulting company, Work Leisure International, in 2003 at the ripe young age of 63 years. His seasoned experience relates to all areas of life and emphasizes the fact that employees at all levels (including Chief Executives) are first and foremost emotional human beings. Peter's professional qualifications are a Graduate Diploma in Recreation Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History.
In personal life, Peter loves his partner Carol, his two children and four grandchildren. He is also passionate about singing in a choir, walking for pleasure and playing social tennis.
